This learning session provides a historical context behind racial inequities in Austin TX, to illustrate how structural and systemic racism are infused across our society and how those inequities are perpetuated today.
Time Commitment: 3-hour single session

BOARD ESSENTIALS
Board Essentials is an engaging, and empowering experience that will equip your board and staff with the tools and knowledge needed in an effective and equitable board member.

DISC BEHAVIORS ASSESSMENT TRAINING
Acknowledge and embrace the strengths in your communication and leadership styles using the TTI Success Insights® Behaviors (DISC) Assessment to explore how it impacts and informs your workplace culture.
Time Commitment: 6-hour single session with 1-hour break for lunch

LEADING WITH EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Using the TTI Emotional Quotient™ Assessment, you will learn where your strengths and areas of improvement exist to develop your emotional intelligence and improve your persona and professional relationships.

PEOPLE AND IMPLICIT BIAS
Through individual and group work, you will study examples demonstrating what implicit biases are, how they develop in individuals, and how they influence the way we interact with our neighbors, coworkers, and friends.

SUPERVISING PEOPLE
Build the essential skills you need to become a people-centered, equitable supervisor. Learn to set expectations, provide fair feedback, and delegate tasks equitably among your nonprofit team.
