STRATEGIC PLANNING & STRATEGIC ADVISORY  

Determine your organization’s goals and how to accomplish them. 

With us as your guide, we’ll help your organization understand where you’ve been, where you’re at and where you want to go. Through a community-centered process, we’ll engage key stakeholders along the way to assess your mission statement, core programs and external identity to map out your organization’s future.

You’ll end up with a living strategic plan with goals, strategies and KPIs to serve as a North star for making tough organizational decisions, and effectively share your story and impact with potential funders and partners.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TRANSITIONS & HIRING

Using a Nationally recognized Prepare-Pivot-Thrive Leadership transition model, Mission Capital will walk your organization through a comprehensive assessment, gathering key stakeholder input to understand who your organization is, and the leadership needed to sustain your work. Based on this feedback, we’ll develop a custom leadership profile, identify where and how to post the position, and manage applications to ensure a streamlined process for your hiring team.

We use our Equity Hiring Framework to guide your hiring team. We rely on interview best-practices to support your process by managing scheduling, drafting interview questions, rubrics, and decision matrices to mitigate biases and ensure a seamless flow through the interview process. Once you have the candidate that’s right for you, we’ll coach your team through the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring your newest leader is set up for success!

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SESSION

SUCCESSION MANAGEMENT  

Succession management is a holistic approach to prepare for leadership transitions. It includes preparing short and long-term plans alongside investing in the talent development of your people. We will work with your leadership and team to develop workshops and practices that help you address immediate succession planning needs through development of emergency succession plans (or continuity plans) for everyone in your organization.

Our team can help you plan for the transition of tenured leaders and staff, collaborating to develop departure defined succession plans and practices.
