AFP of Greater Austin and Mission Capital are pleased to co-present Beyond the Grant: Exploring New Ways to Fund your Nonprofit! The expert speakers and interactive learning at this exciting half-day event will demystify the world of social enterprise and alternative financing models. You’ll hear valuable lessons learned from area nonprofits that are experimenting with new approaches to funding, and have ample opportunities to explore new approaches that may or may not be right for your organization alongside others who face similar questions.

Measuring Success
Mission Capital and AFP consider the following outcomes indicators of a successful event:

  • Educates development directors and other social sector leaders about resource development options outside traditional donations/grants 
  • Helps development directors and other leaders understand specific alternative funding models, and 
  • Builds a network/community among NPOs seeking non-traditional funding models.
